Introducing My New 20 Minute 'Follow Along' Upper Body Workout Video
In my previous posts (my 20 minute Core Workout and Lower Body Workout videos), I introduced the concept of training different body parts on different days. This is a great way of conditioning your core and leg muscles within their own workouts, which is a training system called a 'split routine'.
If you choose to follow my videos, I coach you through how you can train the aforementioned body parts at home without the need for any exercise equipment. This weeks post shows the last workout of this particular split routine and introduces a fun, short yet highly effective workout for the upper body muscles.
This workout, like my previous two, is also a twenty minute video which you can do anywhere in the world without the need for any equipment. The video focuses on toning your chest, back, shoulders and arms, with all exercises simply using your own body weight.
How to Structure Your Split Routine
Moving forward my best suggestion would be to separate the three workouts into different days and to allow at least a days rest in between exercises sessions. Perfect if you are just starting out. For example, work your Legs on a Monday. Perform the core workout video on a Wednesday and finish with the upper body workout on a Friday or a Saturday.
If you are feeling really fit, you could always add my 20 Minute Total Body Workout Video on a fourth day if you were up to the challenge.
My Next Workout Video...
To compliment my growing catalogue of workout videos (Total Body Workout, my split routine of Legs, Core and today's Upper Body Workout), my next video is going to be purely fitness and fat loss related.
I will be posting be a 20 minute High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T) workout video which you can also do at home. Like all my others, this will be another FREE video to help keep you motivated.
I hope you enjoy my Upper Body Workout Video and would love to hear how you get on. Leave me a comment or ask me a question if you have one, either here in the comment section below or on my YouTube Channel comments area.
