LOSE IT FOR LIFE: Body Transformation Programme FAQs

The Lose it For Life: Body Transformation Programme is a six week online course designed to integrate habit based tools into your life to help you lose weight, not just in the short term, but for the rest of your life.

On the course I show you how to create impactful fat burning habits, a better relationship with food and the right way to get the fitter and leaner, not just for now, but forever.

I created this post to help those who maybe interested in joining the LOSE IT FOR LIFE programme to understand exactly what it’s about and to answer any questions you may have about the process and taking part.

What is the Lose it For Life Programme?

The programme is a six week online course which I created to help you successfully reduce body fat and maintain the loss for the rest of your life. We achieve this by increasing your exercise in our group workouts and in our workshops, by adjusting common habits and behaviours (some of which, we’re not always conscious of) which can cause people to gain weight in the first place.

How Does it Work?

The course workshops run on Monday nights, 7.30pm – 8.30pm for six weeks. Within the workshops we tackle the most common causes of weight gain. For example – Eating emotionally, grabbing food on-the-go, self sabotage, peer pressure from others to name a few. You will be shown simple, easy-to-follow processes to practice in the week(s) ahead based on overcoming these psychological obstacles to support you in achieving your personal goal.

Over time, following small/simple instructions you will naturally create new habits. Habits are part of our every day routine which disappear into our subconscious. Once you have developed a subconscious fat-burning habit, losing weight will be easy.

On this course, you will be taught six key habits to ensure your fat burning potential is maximised.

In addition you have four live, online group exercises classes per week you can attend. Monday and Friday mornings at 10am – 10.45am, and Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 7.30 – 8.15pm.  You are encouraged to do as many of the classes as you can for the best benefits while on the course.

Finally, you also have access to my exclusive training app which we use as a major tool for the course.  The app contains additional workouts (which offers you the freedom to workout on your own terms), plus we use the app for habit reminders, accountability, measures and group communication.

What Will I Have to Do?

I have made the LOSE IT FOR LIFE process as simple as possible for all delegates. Of course, you will need to show up each week for the course, but, most importantly, you must be prepared and open to change. The changes we make to your daily routines are small and subtle, but they do require consistency and focus. The people who have had the best results on my courses aren’t the most fit, they are the ones who want it the most and are prepared to put the work in.

You will be challenged with adopting one new food based habit every week. You will be offered the first practice on week one, adding a new habit each week for the duration. By the time you finish the course, you will be practicing six new fat burning habits all at the same time.

In order to maximise the experience, you must be prepared to look at your existing food habits and, potentially, be prepared change the way you eat/think about food. This course is about what you eat, yes, but it’s more geared toward how you eat.

In addition, you will also be asked to record your own measurements within the app on the Sunday before the workshop (you will need weighing scales  – ideally ones which measure body fat and a tape measure). This allows you to stay accountable and so we can record your progress.  Tracking progress is a sure fire way to keep you focused. Nothing motivates like seeing results!

How Much Does The Course Cost & How Do I Pay?

The current prices for my next course will be on my LOSE IT FOR LIFE website page. I offer an early bird 25% discount to people who book early to secure their space.

How Much Weight Will I Lose?

You can expect to lose between 1 – 2 pounds per week during the 6 week process. This will of course, depend on how much you would like to lose to begin with. The LOSE IT FOR LIFE course is not designed to be a ‘quick weight loss fix’, however… In January 2018, one of my 1-2-1 clients took part. Over the duration of the course lost a total of 11lbs. In thew following six months she went on to lose an addititonal 35lbs using the tools she adopted in the LOSE IT FOR LIFE course at the start of the year.

The programme has been designed to almost ‘draw a line in the sand’ and address behaviours toward food. A diet is simply restricting yourself from the things you like for a short period of time. Your success with this programme establishes long-term solutions in reducing body fat and arming you with tools to keep off those unwanted pounds for the rest of your life.

Is it The Same as Going to a Slimming Club?

No. Instead of creating a ‘dieting’ mindset, you will be encouraged to eat more of the right types of foods. You will never be hungry and you won’t be told what you can’t have. No foods are off the table.

Instead of learning restrictive point systems or classifying food as a ‘sin’, you will be encouraged to consider your own personal relationship with food and to think of good or bad choices when it comes to what you eat, rather than good or bad foods. Food after all isn’t bad, it is one of life’s most amazing experiences!

You will be encouraged to consider the outcomes of your food based choices rather than identifying certain food groups as good or bad.

Who Presents The Course?

As the course creator I personally present the Lose it For Life Programme. If you have just discovered  my website, my name is Danny Wallis. I have been a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach since 1998 and have worked help transform body shapes for literally thousands of people during that time.

I am also a qualified Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Coach which helps people overcome psychological barriers. I wrote the LOSE IT FOR LIFE programme using my NLP, Nutrition and Personal Training expertise to create a long lasting weight loss practices unlike anything else within the industry.

Do I Have to Do The Online Fitness Classes & Will I Be Fit Enough?

The best way to get great results on the course is to adhere to an exercise programme while completing the workshops. If you already have your own regime, great! In my experience, most people start the course with no current workout plan. I would certainly encourage you to taker advantage of the sessions for the best results.

My workout classes are designed to cater for everyone and beginners will be well taken care of, so please don’t worry. I will be nice to you!

If you can’t make the daytime or evening workout sessions, you also have exclusive fat burning workouts to use within the app which you can use at a time and place which suits you.

I’ve Never Done a Live Online Course, How Does it Work?

Please don’t worry, meeting up online is easy! Both my Monday night workshops and my exercise classes work via the ZOOM app.  You don’t need to sign up or pay for an account, but you do need the app installed on your device.  You do this via the App Store (Apple) or the Google Play Store (Android).

Once you have signed up for the course, you will be sent a link for the workshops and classes.  At the time of the session, you just press the link and gain access to the class.  It’s that simple!

To get the most out of the course, the bigger the screen you use, the better the engagement and the more connected you will feel to the programme. You can use your phone, but if you have a computer or a tablet, its a better experience. You could even connect your device to your TV or monitor for a fully immersive experience!

Do I Need Any Equipment For The Course or Fitness Classes?

As the Lose it For Life Programme is an online only course, you will need a some tools for the best experience. You will need a stable and reliable broadband wifi connection to avoid a choppy signal or being cut off.

You will also need a smartphone, tablet or computer to gain access to the course access to my training app (I will show you how to download the app within your welcome pack you have joined ).

In addition, you will need a set of weighing scales (ideally ones which also read body-fat) and a simple tape measure so we can measure your progress.

I personally recommend these Renpho scales from Amazon which I use and are both affordable and excellent.

For the exercise classes, you will need some space to workout in and ideally a set of Bluetooth headphones so you can hear me while exercising. If you need a pair, I recommend the Muzili Sports headphones as they stay on your head and don’t come off when exercising. They are affordable and the sound quality is excellent.  No other equipment is needed.

Will Other People Be Able to See Me Online?

My Lose it For Life programme works best with the engagement, support and encouragement of other, likeminded people.

I suggest you select the ‘speaker view’ option within Zoom which shows you the person talking.  Largely this will be me as I coach you through my presentation but it also means we respect anyone wishing to contribute by being able to see them when they add value too.  If you wish to remain silent, no one will be able to see you apart from me.

I’m Interested But Nervous. Is it Normal?

Yes, it’s perfectly normal and I promise you, you aren’t alone.  I have been a trainer and weight loss coach for the last 22 years and have a huge amount of experience, so please don’t worry! Everyone feels a bit nervous trying something new, but I promise, you will be made to feel very welcome and right at home. My aim is for everyone on my courses to feel relaxed, positive and motivated. I’m sure you will too.

If I Can’t Make a Specific Week of The Course, What Happens?

Due to the exclusive nature of the course, I am afraid requests to record our workshop sessions and send them on compromise the privacy of other people on the course.

I ask that you plan ahead before booking and make sure that you are able to attend all six of our workshops.  If you are unable to attend the Lose it For Life Programme is non refundable and non transferrable.

Can I Use My Phone to Access The Course?

To get the most out of the course, the bigger the screen you use, the better the engagement and the more connected you will feel to the programme.

You can use your phone, but if you have a computer or tablet, its a much better experience to see the detail of the presentations. You could even connect your device to your TV or monitor for a fully immersive experience!

I’m Not Very Tech Savvy, Does it Matter?

Being an online only course, the Lose it For Life Programme does rely heavily on the use of technology for you to get the most out of the programme. If you have reservations, please feel free to contact me directly and I will happily answer any questions you have regarding the use of technology on our courses.

How Do I Book On The Course?

All you have to do is sign up via my Lose it For Life Registration Page.  Here you will be asked some key questions including your expectations from the course and a short health questionnaire to ensure you are medically well enough to join in with the exercise classes (don’t worry, a health questionnaire is a legal requirement which we have to ask everyone to complete before they start exercising with us).

Once registered you will be emailed a link to our Payment Page (do remember to check your junk and spam boxes if you don’t see the email as business email addresses sometimes get mistaken for spam) where you can then pay for your space own the next course.  Don’t forget, if you book early, you receive a 25% discount (£50) off your space on our next course.
