Smoothies are a fantastic way of eating-on-the-go. They are fast to prepare, you can take them with you as a quick and healthy ‘meal-on-the-go’ and, if prepared with fresh/healthy ingredients, can provide you with a ton of nutrients and vitamins to keep your blood sugar levels balanced and protein intake high – Both essential for maintaining healthy muscle tone.
Personal Favourites
I have selected three of my personal favourite recipes for you to try. These smoothies contain a selection of both fruits and vegetables for a varied combination of vitamins, potassium and iron, plus a scoop of your favourite Whey Protein to add an extra 25 grams of protein per drink.
These smoothies are great as a meal replacement or as a post workout drink to replace essential fats, sugars and protein to start rebuilding and re-fuelling your muscles after exercise. Simply Blend, and go!

Recommendation
On a quick side note; If you’re thinking about buying a blender (specifically for your smoothies), I would highly recommend my most recent purchase, the Breville Blend-Active Personal Blender. It works exactly the same as a Nutribullet but is a fifth of the price. It’s amazingly easy to use and really simple to clean – I would highly recommend it… I bought mine from Amazon and absolutely love it! Feel free to click my affiliate link above if you would like to purchase one.
